We got some new fabric today! It was a busy weekend with family so we weren't home much but now that we are we have 2 coffee coozies and a headband coming up! #JBGcreations19 #halloween #coozie #icedcoffee #headbands #halloween #itsfallyall #letsgetspooky
It's been crazy this month. We've had schedule changes, virtual 3rd grade and video calls, and helping and visiting our close relatives. We also have kick started with our fabric projects more now that I have my sewing machine which is fantastic! I can't say I regret the decision to keep my daughter home and my son out of daycare regardless of how busy I've been and to be honest, overwhelmed. BUT I have the peace of mind knowing we don't have to deal with covid, routine disruption when they start closing everything down for flu season, and even though they drive me crazy just the time I have to really see my kids grow.
Our mornings I let the kids wake up when they please which is normally been 7 and 8. They take their time getting up and dressed and having breakfast. After breakfast I try to get my almost 1 and a half year old son to do some independent playing while I work and my daughter does her schooling. We take breaks when we need to because I don't expect her to sit at the computer all day and sometimes my son needs some extra attention.
Around 1130 my son gets cranky and my daughter has to squeeze in lunch between her class so they have lunch and then my son goes down for his nap for an hour, sometimes 2. When he wakes up my daughter goes in and gets him because she just needs to cuddle her man which is the cutest thing and 3pm is snack time. My daughter is usually done with her schoolwork at this point so she plays with her brother, reads books, or plays in her room. After I'm done working we usually have a family dinner, do some cleaning up, and spend time together and I save most projects and cleaning for after the kids go to bed.
Our day to day is very busy but I couldn't be happier with our family
